Four hundred and ten years ago, when Hugo Grotius wrote the "Ocean Freedom", he asserted:
"The ocean is inexhaustible and inexhaustible... (it) should be open to everyone, For their free use."
Two hundred years later, Thomas Henry Huxley, the author of "The Theory of Heaven" also put
forward a similar point of view. He believes that "the ocean is so vast, various creatures come
and go so freely, and their reproduction is so How fast can human beings exterminate marine life?"
As the saying goes, "Eat the sea to eat the sea", for the vast and deep ocean, the first human
knowledge did come from the tip of the tongue.
However, the interesting contrast is that as the world becomes more and more eager for
marine resources, the gifts from the ocean have stopped climbing.
If overfishing has brought an unbearable weight to the marine ecology, the destruction of the
marine ecology may completely cut off the opportunity for these already precarious biological
resources to recover again.
So, what should we do?
Coexistence with development.
