Introduction

Fishing nets, nets used for fishing. Structural materials for fishing tools. More than 99% are processed from synthetic fibers. There are mainly nylon 6 or modified nylon monofilament, multifilament or multimonofilament, and polyethylene, polyester, polyvinylidene chloride and other fibers can also be used.

History

The ancients used coarse cloth and hemp as raw materials, and made fish nets by rolling them. Although this kind of fishing net is perishable and poor in toughness, its fishing efficiency has been greatly improved. With the development of fisheries, the objects of fishing and hunting are not only fish, but the fishing tools are also advancing with the times. Modern fishing nets are mainly processed with raw materials such as polyethylene and nylon. It has a longer life cycle and higher fishing efficiency, and is classified by different usage methods. For example, cast nets (hand nets, hand throw nets) used in traditional fishing, trawl nets that use boats as power, and gill nets (triple nets, seine nets) that use different meshes to hang gills. These nets are woven with different sizes of nets and wires of different materials for different fishing objects. At the same time as the development of fishing nets, various fishing gears have also emerged, such as fishing cages and four-corner nets as commonly used fishing tools.

Detailed introduction and classification

Fishing nets are divided into gillnets, trawling nets (trawling nets), seine nets, net construction and net laying. It requires high transparency (partial nylon mesh) and strength, good impact resistance, abrasion resistance, mesh dimensional stability and flexibility, and appropriate elongation at break (22%-25%). Twisted from monofilament and multifilament (with netting).Or monofilament processed by knitting (raschel, no knot net), primary heat treatment (fixed nodules), dyeing and secondary heat treatment (fixed mesh size).

It can be used for drift-net fishing, trolling fishing, fish fishing, bait fishing and fixed fishing. Or it can be used as a raw material for making net cages and fishing cages.

The nets used in fishery production include trawl nets, purse nets, cast nets, fixed nets and cages. Trawl nets and seine nets are heavy-duty nets used in marine fishing. The mesh size is 2.5-5 cm, the diameter of the net rope is about 2 mm, and the net weighs several tons or even dozens of tons. Usually a pair of tugboats are used to pull and chase the fishing group or a light boat is used to lure the fish in a group to enclose them. Casting nets are light nets for fishing in rivers and lakes. The mesh size is 1 to 3 cm, the diameter of the net rope is about 0.8 mm, and the net weight is several kilograms. Fixed nets and cages are fixed nets for artificial breeding in lakes, reservoirs or bays. The size of the fish varies according to the fish that is raised, and the fish are kept in a certain water area to avoid escape.

The raw materials for woven fishing nets are mainly 15 to 36 strands of 210 denier nylon, polyester multifilament and polyethylene monofilament with a diameter of 0.8 to 1.2 mm. Weaving methods include knotting, twisting and warp knitting.
